Ekadhikena Purvena ( To Find Square Easy Way) - Vedic math sutras

Ekadhikena purvena  simply means one added to previous  digit

For example to get 6 add 1 to previous number 5

What is the important of this sutra?

What is the square of 5 ? oh it is 25 you can answer this within seconds. What about  45² ?

It needs some time. Isn’t it?

This can be used to find square of numbers ending with 5 such as 5,15,25,35,45,.. 

1. Multiply the number except the last digit with next number     

1. Write 25 after the result of first step
